A migrant worker bound for Saudi Arabia turned over to the airport police an envelope containing 20 pieces of Japanese yen in ten thousand bills with peso equivalent of more than P80,000 that she found at the departure lobby of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal 1 Thursday morning. Myrna dela Cruz, married, a Cavite City native and resident of Don Carlos, Pasay City, is working as therapist in one of the hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Cruz contacted Christina Vasquez at the NAIANBI office who got in touch with NAIA Police Intelligence and Investigation Division. Lt. Edgar Ridad made an inventory of the contents and found the cash and a marriage certificate registered in the name of Narvel Rodriguez and Fretzie Belarmino. Cruz said she paged the owner of the envelope at the departure area before turning over the items to the airport police.
