Catch inspiring stories of women who faced life-changing tragedies and how they overcome what seemed to be insurmountable odds on E! Investigates: Stories of Survival. The show 10 p.m. Thursdays on E!, SkyCable Channel 57. The special showcases six women, each of whom tells her own incredible story of going through inexplicable tragedy: former Mrs. Idaho winner Jamie Hilton surviving a fall off a cliff; Kristine Cunnane confronting sexual abuse in 8th grade; Molli Serrano beating cancer and competing in Iron Man Hawaii 16 months after her diagnosis; Johanna Orozco getting over an abusive relationship that almost claimed her life; Midsi Sanchez being kidnapped by a serial child rapist; and Sarah Shourd being falsely accused and imprisoned in a foreign country. Hosted by Laura Ling, a survivor of imprisonment after being accused of crossing the North Korean border illegally, she sits down and talks with these brave survivors as they recount their incredible stories of overcoming the odds. Their tales are sure to break hearts yet uplift your spirits as they go into details of how they survived their plights.
