Celebrating 27 years with corporate partners

It was a delightful afternoon filled with laughter and meaningful chatter as Manila Standard Today’s top executives hosted an appreciation luncheon event with top advertising and dealer partners.  As part of Manila Standard Today’s 27th anniversary celebration, the paper recognized its corporate partners for their continuous support and loyalty shown throughout the year.  The occasion also gave opportunity for the paper to reiterate its commitment in upholding responsible journalism when delivering news and information that matters.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition given to top corporate partners.  Manila Standard’s President and Chief Executive Rogelio Salazar led the awarding ceremony, assisted by Controller Mac Caliwara, Advertising Manager Edith Datuin-Angeles, and Circulation Manager Edgar Valmorida.

Upon reaching the paper’s 27th year, the Public Works and Highways Department (DPWH) led the group of top advertisers while Emma Maka was recognized as top dealer of the year.  A total of 14 top advertisers completed the list of awardees.  For dealers, eight partners were recognized.

“We are always grateful that our corporate partners have been with us throughout the years.  We hope that with these simple gestures we were able to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation,” said Salazar.

The anniversary luncheon was held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria hotel’s Bar One.  Guests were treated with sumptuous buffet and lively music.  The luncheon sparkled with showbiz personalities that graced the event.  Ogie Alcasid, Alice Dixson, Gelli de Bellen and Arci Munoz greeted hosts and guests, and provided special numbers for an entertaining afternoon.  Enzo Pineda, Bela Padilla, and Jeric Gonzales likewise graced the event that was made special by their appearance.
