PAGASA expects rainfall this afternoon

Weather bureau PAGASA reports a 60 percent chance of rain and some thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon.

This is due to a Low Pressure Area (LPA) located 830 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

The LPA is not expected to develop into a storm.

Rains may pour on Friday afternoon as the LPA is expected to be enhanced by the southwest monsoon.

The monsoon currently affects Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA expects weather to be warm again on Sunday.
