Skyjet Airlines launches maiden flight
Skyjet, the country’s budget-but-full-service airline, launched on Friday its maiden flight to Busuanga as part of its advocacy of opening up missionary routes and promoting cultural tourism in the country.
The airlines is slated to fly thrice weekly to the municipalities of Busuanga and Coron in Palawan every (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
Busuanaga, the largest island in the Calamian Group in the province of Palawan, is located halfway between the islands of Mindoro and Palawan.
The island offers a diving location, pristine beaches and a gentle landscape and is a boat ride away from the Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary in Calauit Island and Concepcion Falls.
