Intramuros art exhibits opens
The Intramuros Administration, in cooperation with the Newsbarbers Co and Intramuros Visual Artists Group, will present the art exhibition of Sining Binhi Artists Group in Fort Santiago on March 12 to 25.
The art exhibition, which willl have the theme, “Sining Pasyal ng Pinoy: Paraiso ang Bayan ko,” will showcase the country’s natural resources and other unheralded places with potential of becoming tourists attractions.
Sining Binhi, which was founded in 1994, believes in the important role played by culture and arts in shaping a just and progressive society. It also advocates preservation of the environment for a sustainable future.
Among the original founders of the group are Jun Dulay Jr and the late Papo de Asis. Dulay now serves as the group’s president.
Opening night will be on March 12 at 6 p.m. at the Intramuros Visual Center inside Fort Santiago.
Also co-presenting the event are: Smart Communications, Villar Foundation, Bellasbarbers, Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc, United Filipino Seafarers, San Miguel Corp, and Manila Standard Today as official media partner.
