HTC has launched its latest smartphone that, according to the company, is “touted to break the boundaries of beauty, imaging, audio and battery performance.”
One of the latest additions to HTC’s family of mobile devices, the Butterfly S features scratch-resistant, 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 and 440 pixels-per-inch (ppi) resolution, giving users “vibrant colors, stunning details and crisp clarity even in bright sunlight.”
It is equipped with a 4-UltraPixel camera, plus imaging tools including the HTC and Smart Flash, which automatically senses the distance between the camera and the object, varying the flash levels from subtle to bright.
The device’s 1080p full HD video recording has slow motion that can be played back in various speeds. The Butterfly S also has something in store for music lovers, as it features HTC BoomSound dual front-facing speakers with built-in amplifiers, plus Beats audio.
The HTC Butterfly S is powered by Snapdragon 600 quad-core, 1.9 GHz processor; with 3200mAh battery – HTC’s longest-lasting battery to-date. The company says users can have more than 24 hours of talk time on 3G, more than 3 days of continuous music playback, or up to 659 hours on standby. Butterfly S comes in red, grey and white high-gloss finish.
