Adidas unveils new running watch

Adidas recently introduced the miCoach SMART RUN, an advanced and intuitive wrist based running device. The company says runners will be able to track their runs using GPS, monitor their heart rate, listen to music and get real-time coaching.

The device has a built-in accelerometer for monitoring a user’s stride rate; and its GPS tracks speed, distance and logs your route. It also features an MP3 player with Bluetooth for wireless music and audible coaching guidance.

With interval (or zone) training as the best way to improve strength, speed and endurance; the miCoach system uses four colored zones to coach you throughout your workout. Plus, it is fully integrated with Adidas’s web platform so training plans, completed workouts and settings can be synced over WLAN.

The miCoach SMART RUN can be purchased exclusively at shop.adidas.com.ph for P19,995.
